Senior Pastor
Brian Ebel
Extension: Ext. 224Direct Phone Number: 859-407-3403
Email Brian
Brian began his career in business and finance before hearing, and heeding, the call to ministry. He and his wife Mandy are Michigan natives who moved to Kentucky in 2002. They and their children, Sarah Margaret and Luke, have been in Lexington since 2019. “The people at St. Luke are amazing; they love others well. We have loved Lexington and getting to be part of the culture of the community.” A fan of golfing, fishing, and pizza—not always in that order—Brian enjoys spending time in Florida and Alabama, and he hopes someday to learn to fly a plane. Brian helps people live into the church’s values of being unashamedly passionate about following Jesus and bringing hope, healing, and wholeness to Lexington and beyond. He says this of his role: “It involves being the chief cheerleader, vision caster, entrepreneur and empowerer of new ministries, and teacher of the scriptures to help people grow closer to Jesus.”

As St. Luke’s Choir Director, Brent also oversees the new St. Luke Choral Scholars Program and assists with worship planning.
“The folks in the choir are such a fun group to work with,” Brent says. “Our Wednesday rehearsals are a mid-week shot of the Holy Spirit, and I often come out with much more energy and inspiration than I had when I arrived.”
