Pickleball Tournment for Disaster Relief

Who:
Two-person teams (ages 50+, one male one female), limited to twelve teams.
What:
Charity 50-Plus Mixed Doubles Tournament
A round-robin pickleball tournament to raise funds for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
When:
- Saturday, November 23rd
- Registration & Warmups: 8:15 AM
- Tournament Start: 9:00 AM (until finished)
Where: St. Luke Gymnasium, 2351 Alumni Drive
Why: To provide financial support for Hurricane Helene disaster relief.
Cost:
$50 Per Person/$100 Per Team (No Refunds But Team Substitutions Allowed)
Format: Round-robin with two six-team groups, with each team playing five games.
The organizers will do their best to make each group as balanced as possible.
The top two teams from each group will compete for the championship in each group, resulting in one champion from each group.
How to Register or Donate:
Register to play or make a donation below. Donations are welcome, even if you don’t participate in the tournament! Checks can be made out to St. Luke Church, with “Hurricane Helene Relief” in the memo line.
Details:
- Pickleballs for tournament play are graciously provided by Diadem Sports.
- This is not a sanctioned tournament.
- Breakfast will be provided, donated by Cracker Barrel.
- Lunch will be provided, donated by Chick-fil-A.
- Awards: Medals will be given to top finishers.
- Extras: Door prizes will be awarded, and a silent auction will be held.
- Donations are appreciated.
