What Kind of Neighbor Am I?
If everyone is our neighbor…we have to ask ourselves the question, “What kind of neighbor am I?” “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood” asked this question of its young viewers all the time. Mr. Rogers knew his neighbors and they knew him. When we realize everyone is our neighbor, we can take it to the next level and consider how well we love and care for our neighbors. Jesus’ parable shares there are two kinds of neighbors – those who show compassion and those who don’t. Which kind of neighbor are you?
