Earlier this year, a group from St. Luke Church, planned to travel to Havana, Cuba, in partnership with leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary. The goal was to learn from the church Iglesia Espíritu y Verdad and explore the future together. Due to recent world events and safety concerns, that trip was canceled.
While we couldn’t go to Cuba, Cuba is coming to St. Luke!
Join us for a Cuban Night of Worship on Thursday, January 15th at 7:00pm at St. Luke Church led by our Cuban brothers and sisters, offering a glimpse into the vibrant, Spirit-filled life of the church in Cuba. This will be a charismatic, extended worship experience, marked by flowing worship, prayer, and powerful preaching.
The evening will be hosted by Rev. Dr. Tesia Mallory, Dean of the Chapel at Asbury Theological Seminary, alongside Adria Núñez and a Cuban-led worship band. Pastor Guillermo León Mighty will bring the message.
The church in Cuba is growing and thriving even amid hardship, and this night offers an opportunity to experience worship through the lens of the global church and to be encouraged by the work of the Holy Spirit beyond our own context.
This is a unique worship experience open to all. Come ready for extended worship, prayer, and a meaningful encounter with God.
