We’re excited to share a new step in the life of our church with the launch of Special Friends, a ministry designed to support children and individuals with special needs here at St. Luke.

Starting Sunday, Feb 15, we’ll be opening newly renovated spaces in our upstairs Children’s Ministry area, including a modified classroom and a sensory room designed to be a calm, supportive and low-stimulation environment. Each Sunday at 9:30 AM, our Special Friends will begin worship with our Children’s Ministry and then move into tailored instructional time with the support they need.

Each participant will be paired with a trained buddy who offers one-on-one care in a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate setting, allowing parents and guardians to fully participate in worship with peace of mind.

Do you have a Special Friend who may be interested in this ministry?
