Drawing from King Jehoshaphat’s prayer in 2 Chronicles 20, Dr. Ebel reminds us that courage does not mean being unafraid—it means turning to God in the midst of fear. When life feels overwhelming, our first response should be prayer: remembering that God is above us, recalling how He has been good, and honestly admitting, “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” True courage comes not from believing that we are strong, but from trusting that God is strong and that the battle belongs to Him.
