The Faith & Hope Class and Keenagers Class will welcome Dr. Matthew Sleeth as a guest speaker on Sunday, November 9, from 9:30–10:30 AM in the Trinity Room.
Dr. Sleeth, executive director of Blessed Earth and author of Reforesting Faith, will share reflections on what trees can teach us about the nature of God and His love for us.
This special session is open to anyone who’d like to join the discussion.
Dr. Sleeth serves as the executive director of Blessed Earth, an educational nonprofit that inspires and equips Christians to become stewards of God’s creation, and is the author of several books, including Reforesting Faith: What Trees Teach Us About the Nature of God and His Love for Us, 24/6: A Prescription for a Healthier, Happier Life, and Serve God, Save the Planet. He has shared about the biblical call to be good stewards of the earth at more than a thousand churches, campuses, and events. Dr. Sleeth and his wife, Nancy, live in Lexington.
