Grace Manifested
Luke 24:1–12 | Galatians 5:1, 16–26
Easter is the most significant moment in history, yet it’s easy to miss what it truly means.
In this message, Rev. Dr. Brian Ebel walks through the first Easter morning, where everyone is running, searching, and trying to make sense of what has happened. The tomb is empty, but no one fully understands it yet. Even those closest to Jesus are confused, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to do next.
That same reality often describes our lives today. We are busy, constantly moving, chasing success, approval, or control, yet still feeling exhausted and unsettled. The problem is not just that life is busy. It is that we are running without knowing who we belong to.
The resurrection changes everything.
Through Jesus’ victory over sin and death, we are not just offered forgiveness. We are given freedom. As Galatians reminds us, “For freedom Christ has set us free.” This freedom is not about doing whatever we want, but about being released from the need to prove ourselves and instead living fully in Christ.
The turning point comes when Mary hears Jesus call her name. In that moment, grace becomes personal, and everything changes.
Easter is the invitation to stop running and start living. Grace has been revealed. Freedom is here. The question is whether we will recognize His voice and follow Him.
